This petition has been filed praying to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.120 of 2019 registered for the offences under Sections 507, 387 r/w 34 of IPC pending on the file of the respondent police. 2.

The learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing for the first respondent / police submitted that after completing investigation, charge sheet was filed on 31.12.2020 itself.

Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to file a petition challenging the final report in the manner known to law, if so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
