This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to defreeze the account bearing Current A/c No.510909010000862 in City Union Bank, Avadi Branch, Chennai and Indian Overseas Bank bearing Saving Bank A/c No.000801000024148, Avadi Branch, Chennai, of the petitioner maintained with the second respondent and third respondent.

2. Heard Mr.S.Marimuthu, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for first respondent.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the bank account of the petitioner was freezed on 15.02.2024 and the same was intimated to the Special Court under TNPID Act, Chennai, on the very same day. 2/4

4. In the light of the above submission, the mandate under Section 102 Cr.P.C. has been complied with. Therefore, this Court cannot pass any further orders. It is left open to the petitioner to approach the Court below and seek for defreezing his bank account.
