Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.01.2023 and thereby direct the respondents to call for the petitioner for certificate verification and to appoint the petitioner as Village Assistant in the Second Respondent Department. O R D E R

Heard Mr. B.Gopalakrishnan, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. N.Naveenkumar, Learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the Respondents, and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The grievance ventilated by the Petitioner is that he had made an application to the post of Village Assistant, but the Respondents have not called him for certificate verification till date.

Learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents, on instructions, states that the Petitioner had been issued call letter dated 24.12.2022 to appear before the Second Respondent for certificate verification, but he remained absent. In such circumstances, the question of granting the relief as sought by the Petitioner in the present Writ Petition does not arise, but it would not preclude him, if he has any further grievance from working out his remedies before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law. 2/4

In fine, the Writ Petition is dismissed on the aforesaid clarifications. No costs.
