ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents particularly the 1st respondent not to harass her and her family members, unnecessarily on the basis of the false and frivolous complaint given against her by any one in future.

2. No representation for the petitioner on account of boycott of Courts.

3. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondents.

4. It is alleged by the petitioner that the Block Development Officer of Bhuvanagiri, Panchayat Union has given a complaint against the petitioner, based on which, the petitioner has been harassed. When a complaint lodged by an authority, it is the duty of the respondent police to enquire.

5. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioner shall co-operate for the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, he shall not be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused.

With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
