PRAYER IN WP. No.29599 of 2013:- Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Hon'ble court to issue writ of Certiorarified or any other appropriate writ, directin or orders in the nature of writ calling for the records relating to the respondent proceedings made in Na. Ka. No.586/A1/2012 dt 20.9.2013 and to quash the same and further direct the respondent to appoint the petitioner in any suitable post in the respondent on compassionate ground.

J U D G M E N T

[Judgment of the Court was delivered by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] This intra court appeal came up for hearing on 20 February, 2018. After hearing the parties at length and on a perusal of the impugned order, we made a query to the learned Government Advocate as to how the claim was rejected by the District Educational Officer, Kanchipuram, notwithstanding the death of the brother of the respondent, who initially made the application for compassionate appointment. The learned Government Advocate, therefore, took time to take instructions from the respondent.

2. When the appeal was taken up for further hearing on 26 February, 2018, the learned Government Advocate produced a copy of the order dated 24 February, 2018 appointing the respondent in the post of Junior Assistant. Since certain corrections were required in the said order, the learned Government Advocate submitted that he would produce a corrected order today. Accordingly, the matter is posted today.

3. When the appeal is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate produced a copy of the order dated 24 February, 2018 on the file of the first appellant appointing the respondent as Junior Assistant. In view of the order dated 24 February, 2018, nothing requires for adjudication.

4. The order dated 24 February, 2018 is taken on record. The writ appeal is disposed of in view of the subsequent events. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
