This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to register petitioner's complaint dated 6.6.2015, investigate the matter and file a report within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 3.

It is seen that the petitioner is an accused in several cases and is detained under Goodas Act. Whileso, petitioner has lodged a complaint with the local police, in which the amount involved is more than one crore rupees.

Since the local police cannot investigate an offence involving more than one crore rupees, liberty is given to the petitioner to lodge a fresh complaint before the CCB, Chennai. 5.

This criminal original petition is closed with the above liberty to the petitioner.
