ORDER

The Writ Petition in W.P. No.5253 of 2024 has been filed to direct the 4 th respondent to provide police protection for conducting the temple festivals of "Muthukumaran and Kamatchi Amman Temples" along with other temples situate at Kadanthapatti Village, Namakkal Taluk and District scheduled to be held from 03.03.2024 to 15.03.2024 based on the petitioner's representation dated 11.01.2024.

2. The Writ Petition in W.P. No.5413/2024 has been filed to quash the proceedings of the 2 nd respondent dated 16.02.2024 and to forbear the respondents 5 to 7 from conducting festival in Angalamman Temple, Muthukumarasamy temple, Kadanthapatty, Pachal Post, Namakkal. 3/6

3. Inspite of detailed order passed in these petitions and peace committee meetings were also conducted by the Revenue Department, the villagers are not able to conduct the affairs of the said temples in the village peacefully.

4. Therefore, the parties are directed to approach the appellate Court where the appeal is pending.

5. With the above directions, these writ petitions are dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
