Respondent/Respondent/Complainant Prayer: Criminal Revision Case filed under Sections 397 r/w 401 of Cr.P.C., to set aside the conviction imposed in the judgement order dated 19.08.2019 made in C.A.No.123 of 2018 on the file of the II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Thiruvallur at Poonamallee confirming the conviction imposed in judgment dated 04.07.2018 made in C.C.No.27 of 2018 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court (Magisterial Level), Ambattur sentencing the accused to undergo 7 months simple imprisonment and directed to pay compensation of Rs.11,50,000/- compensation u/s.357(3) Cr.P.C. within two months from the date of the judgement and default of the said payment the accused shall undergo further period of one month simple imprisonment for offence u/s.138 of Negotiable Instrument Act by allowing this criminal revision petition.

ORDER

The learned counsel for the Revision Petitioner inspite of adjourning the matter on several occasions on the pretext that he will settle the due has not come forward to file a copy of the compromise credence alleged to have been entered between the respondent. However, the respondent is not present and the counsel for the respondent states that the said compromise agreement entered on 31.03.2021, wherein the accused agreed to pay a sum of Rs.8,50,000/- in respect of Crl.R.C.No.469 of 2020 by way of Demand Draft. Therefore, they have no objection regarding the compromise and compound the offence arising from C.C.No.27 of 2018.

2. Recording the same, this Criminal Revision Case is disposed of as offence compounded.
