ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.12.2022 as per the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

2. Mr.V.Logeswaren, appears for learned counsel on behalf of the petitioner, Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the official respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Since no adverse order is being passed against the respondents 4 to 6 notice to the respondents 4 to 6 is dispensed with.

4. It is the case of the petitioner is that the petitioner who is a senior 2/5

citizen has been deceived over the property measuring an extent of 1.58 Acres by her sons ie., the respondents 5 and 6 herein by way of executing release deed, rectification deed and sale deed in their favour by misleading her and had been driven out of the said property. While so, she made a representation dated 03.12.2022 before the respondents 1 to 3 seeking to cancel the deeds mentioned as above as per the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, but the same was not considered. Hence the present writ petition.

Though very many grounds have been raised in the present writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.12.2022 and pass appropriate orders within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

6. On the above contentions heard learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed before this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.12.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the aggrieved persons if any, including the respondents 4 to 6 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
