The Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent to provide police protection to conduct Maasi Maham Theppal Thiruvizha at Ponniyamman Temple situated at Kazhanipakkam Village, Cheyyar Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District on 12.03.2025 by considering the petitioner representation dated 11.02.2025. 2.It is seen that the temple is private temple and worshipers are all general public of Kazhanipakkam Village, Cheyyar Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District. The 1st respondent has no authority to form any committee as requested by the petitioner.

3.Further, it is also seen that there is a dispute between the petitioner and the 4th respondent in respect of conducting the festival for Ponniyamman Temple. Therefore, the representation submitted by the 2/4

petitioner cannot be considered.
