Pursuant to the order passed by the Court, in W.P.No.13498 of 2016 dated 12.04.2016, the respondent has passed an order, dated 11.01.2018, the copy of which is furnished to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner on the last hearing date. It is seen that the

Writ Petition was disposed of, by directing the second respondent in the Writ Petition, i.e., the Sub Collector, Pollachi, Coimbatore, to take action on merits and in accordance with law, so as to give effect to the order passed by the Assistant Commissioner (Land Reforms) Coimbatore, dated 02.03.2007, if there were no other legal impediments. Therefore, the Contempt Petition is closed, giving liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order passed by the respondent/Sub Collector, dated 11.01.2018, if they are aggrieved. No costs.
