O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to issue new family card to him pursuant to the application dated 03.03.2010 in Application No.372 of 2010 and representation dated 04.02.2017. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the application for issuance of new family card to him presented as early as on 03.03.2010, the respondents have not issued the family card yet.

3.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate taking https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

notice for the respondents, submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application and issue new family card, if the application is in order. 4.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 03.03.2010 and issue new family card to him, if the application is in order within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
