Heard Mr. R. Ramanlaal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. S. Govinathan, learned Standing counsel for Chennai Corporation appearing for the respondents.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner, at later point of time was reinstated into service, hence nothing survives in this petition.
