Respondent Contempt Petition filed under section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order passed in WP.No.7800 of 2010 dated 20.10.2016.

ORDER

This contempt petition has been moved against the respondent to punish him for the alleged willful disobedience on his part of the order of this Court passed in WP.No.7800 of 2010 dated 20.10.2016.

This Court vide order dated 20.10.2016 made in WP.No.7800 of 2010 has passed the following order:

"Accordingly, the writ petition is ordered with the following terms:

the first respondent is directed to pass a revised order for regularising the services of the petitioner from 13.10.1983 to 07.08.1986, with all service and attendant benefits as per the relevant service rules governing the service condition of the petitioner and such a revised order shall be passed by the first respondent as indicated above within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

12. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed."

Since the said order has not been complied with according to the petitioner, he has moved the present contempt petition.

Today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the orders of this Court rendered above, the respondent has issued order in G.O.Ms.No.39, School Education Department, dated 09.03.2018, thereby, the order passed by this Court rendered above has been complied with.

Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner by taking into account the

aforesaid Government Order dated 09.03.2018, since the order of this Court have been complied with by the respondent, no further adjudication is required in this contempt petition.
