ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings pending in S.T.C.No.257 of 2021 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Gudalur.

2. In this case, the petitioners, who were arrayed as A2, A9, A15, A19, A23, A29, A35, A36, A78, A79, A80, A91, A100, A106, A107, A108, A124, A128, A133, A137, A153 and A177 have filed this quash petition.

3. This court had earlier passed the proceedings for some of the accused persons in Crl OP No.4942 of 2024 and Crl OP No.4912 of

2024. There are totally 178 accused persons involved in this case.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the main case itself ended in acquittal through judgment dated 02.03.2024.
