By order dated 06.06.2016, this Court, while granting interim stay, directed the petitioners to deposit 50% of the decree amount together with interest and costs to the credit of E.P.No.58 of 2014 on the file of the District Court, Saket, New Delhi within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the order.
2.After the passing of the said order, the petitioners filed an application for extension of time to comply with the conditional order.
3.In paragraph-4 of the affidavit, the petitioners have stated that they received the copy of the order from their counsel on 23.06.2016 and they made arrangements for depositing the amount. In these circumstances, they have stated that they could not deposit the amount within the stipulated time. 4.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that time may be extended by one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for complying with the conditional order dated 06.06.2016.
5.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent has no serious objection for extending the time by one week.
6.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the averments stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, I extend the time, for complying with the conditional order dated 06.06.2016, by one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7.Interim stay already granted is extended.
8.The petition is ordered.
