The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's review petition dated 19.08.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, within a stipulated time.

2. When the writ petition was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the respondent submitted that already the petitioner's review petition was considered by the respondent and the same was rejected vide order dated 15.09.2016. A copy of the review order had also been communicated to the petitioner vide letter dated 16.10.2016.

3. Since already an order has been passed in the review petition, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Hence, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
