(6) of TNVAT Act, 2006 dated 19.01.2015.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that they have given petitions under Section 9(2) of the CST Act, 1956 r/w Section 22(6) of TNVAT Act, 2006 to re-open the assessment for the years 2009-10 and 2010-2011 on 19.01.2015, however, the respondent has not considered the same yet.
3.Mr.Cibi Vishnu, learned Additional Government Pleader (Tax) taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitions filed by the petitioner and pass orders within a stipulated time. 4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, in the applications filed by the petitioner under Section 9(2) of CST Act, 1956 r/w Section 22(6) of TNVAT Act, 2006 dated 19.01.2015 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With these observations, the Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
