ORDER

Heard the learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. There is no appearance on behalf of the third respondent.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying that this court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.8.2013 and to pass appropriate orders. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 had submitted that a direction had already been issued to the second respondent, by the first respondent, to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, with regard to the issuance of the patta, in respect of the land, in S.No.145/8E, in A.Pudhur village, Sankari Taluk, Salem District, by his communication, dated 4.9.2013. However, the second respondent had not disposed of the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.8.2013, till date. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In such circumstances, this Court finds it appropriate to direct the second respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.8.2013, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the third respondent and the other persons concerned, if any.
