Therefore, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption "for dismissal" on 23.08.2017. Accordingly, the matter was listed on 24.08.2017. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
