C.Udhayan ..Respondents Prayer :- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to invoke circular No.67 issued by the Inspect General of Registration and to take suitable actions as per the requisition of the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.475/2013/A1 dated 25.11.2016 and cancel the document No.554/2007 registered in the office of the Sub-Registrar, Tirukoilur and direct the 4th respondent to cancel the patta No.285 extent about 170 square feet.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to invoke circular No.67 issued by the Inspector General of Registration and to take suitable actions as per the requisition of the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.475/2013/A1 dated 25.11.2016 and cancel the document No.554/2007 registered in the office of the Sub-Registrar, Tirukoilur and direct the 4th respondent to cancel the patta No.285 extent about 170 square feet.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the Circular No.67 dated 03.11.2011 issued by Inspector General of Registration has already been withdrawn on 20.10.2017 and hence, the matter has become infructuous.

3. Recording the above submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
