Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.03.2015 for rectifying the father's name as 'Chokkara' instead of S.Manikam, in the school records and to issue the corrected copy of the Transfer Certificate.

By consent the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner submitted a representation stating among other things his brother has admitted him in "N.Kittappa Municipal Higher Secondary School, Koranad, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam District" for 11th and 12th standards and inspite of mentioning him https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
as "guardian" his brother erroneously stated as if he is his father and accordingly entries have also been made in the school records. The petitioner would state that all other documents such as driving licence, voters identity card and PAN card contained the name of the petitioner's father except the school certificates and in this regard, he submitted a representation dated 14.03.2015. Though, it was acknowledged on 27.03.2015, he has not been favoured with any response and hence, he came forward to file this writ petition.
3.Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Sivavarthanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Durai Solaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice for the respondents.
4.This Court without going into the merits of the representation, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2015, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and not later than six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
