Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for for the records relating to the impugned seniority list issued by the third respondent in Proc
No.6545/EDS2/2012 dated 14.10.2014 and the consequential order of the first respondent issued in Letter No.5223/E1 (2)/2015-6 dated 18.02.2016 and quash the said orders and direct the Respondents 1 to 3 to re-draw the seniority list of Chemists reckoning the Notification No.37/2012 dated 07.09.2012 issued by the Secretary, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Chennai, for direct recruitment to the post of Chemist as the date for fixing the Petitioner's seniority as per rule 2(14) of the Tamil Nadu State and Subordinate Services Rules and fix his seniority over and above the Respondents 4 to 6 herein. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.J.Lakshmi Narayanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition. He has also filed a memo for withdrawal dated 15.11.2021 to the Registry to that effect.
2. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and in view of the memo dated 15.11.2021, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
