O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 herein to survey and fix boundaries of the petitioner's property as per Patta No.2796 comprised in Survey No.96/1A, 96/1B & 96/10B situated at Settimankurichi Village, Edapadi Taluk, Salem District by considering the petitioner's representations dated 26.05.2022 and 23.06.2022.

2. In respect of the land at Survey No.96/1A, 96/1B & 96/10B situated at Settimankurichi Village, Edapadi Taluk, Salem District, the petitioner has made an application on 23.06.2022 to survey and identify the four boundaries and he has paid the necessary fee to that effect also. Therefore, in order to consider the said application and to do the needful, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.R.Jayaprakash, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 4. In view of the order going to be passed in 2/4

this writ petition, notice to the 5th respondent is hereby dispensed with.

4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents would submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and needful would be undertaken after giving notice to both petitioner as well as the 5th respondent within a time frame.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the official respondents, this Court gives direction to the 3rd respondent Tahsildar along with the 4th respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 23.06.2022 and do the needful by completing the survey after giving notice to both the petitioner as well as the 5th respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
