The prayer in the present petition is to punish the respondent for the willful disobedience of the order made in W.P.No.26343 of 2012 dated 23.11.2016.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.26343 of 2012 dated 23.11.2016 has been complied with and the petitioner has been given Compassionate Appointment by an order dated 08.03.2018.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the present Contempt Petition stands closed.
