Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 09.05.2012 and consequently directing the respondents 1 and 2 to issue patta in petitioner name for the property situated in No.51, Kakavakkam Village, Uthukottai Taluk, Thiruvallur District.

By consent the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.Petitioner claims to have purchased land admeasuring to an extent of 0.3 cents during the year 1989 from one Alagappan and it is a natham poromboke land and he has also taken peaceful possession and enjoyment of the same for the past 25 years and the same is also assessed to statutory levies. The petitioner made representation/ application on 09.05.2012 for change of patta in his name and the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

local body has also made his recommendation on 09.11.2013 and further contend neighbouring land owner namely Kannan, the patta has been present in his name, in his case, first respondent has not passed any order. Therefore, came forward filing this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.D.Bharathy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Durai Solaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice for the respondents. 4.This Court without going into the merits of the representation, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 09.05.2012 and any further reminder/ representation submitted by the petitioner, for transfer of patta in his name, in accordance with law and after putting concerned persons on notice, as expeditiously as possible and not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
