Mr.P.Senthilvel, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider his application dated 17.04.2017, wherein and whereby he sought for survey of the land in Survey No.55/3, measuring to an extent of 2.30 acres situated at Alathur Village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Villupuram District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court, is that the said request has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner dated 17.04.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
