ORDER

The petitioner has preferred a complaint to the second respondent under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 against her son, the third respondent herein, on an allegation that she is a widow and she is eking her livelihood with the pension money, and that the third respondent, her son is not maintaining her. On 09.08.2022, the third respondent came to the house of the petitioner and had taken away her belongings viz., Aadhar card, pension book, bank pass book, some jewelleries and cash etc, Since, her application was pending before the second respondent from 22.09.2022, she seeks a direction of this Court to dispose it of at the earliest.

2. Mr.Bindran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 and 2.

3. This Court now directs the second respondent to enquire into the matter after affording an opportunity of hearing to the third respondent and to dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 22.09.2022, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
