ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.L.Mouli, learned counsel for the petitioners, and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, assisted by Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader, for respondents 1 and 2.

2. The present writ petition is filed alleging encroachment on a pathway. The details of the survey numbers do not appear. The

petitioners contend that the petitioners have made a representation to respondents 1 and 2. In the absence of the details, it may not be possible for us to pass orders.

3. A grievance redressal mechanism is provided under G.O (Ms.) No.540, Revenue [LD6(2)] Department, dated 4.12.2014. The petitioners may approach the authority constituted under the said government order. In that event, all contentions of the parties are kept open.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There will be no order as to costs. W.M.P.No.20736 of 2023 filed by the petitioners to permit them to file a single writ petition stands allowed and disposed of.
