PRAYER IN W.P.NO.5965 OF 2022:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2021 to demarcate the lands in Survey No.

287/1 measuring an extent of 1.18 and Survey No.287/2A measuring an extent of 62 Cents (Previously Survey No.287/2, measuring an extent of 1.40 Acre) in S.Nattamangalam, Namakkal by sub-dividing as per the revenue documents and the title deeds and issue the fresh Patta by amending the Patta in existence.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to demarcate the petitioner's property by sub-dividing as per the revenue documents and the title deeds and issue the fresh Patta by amending the Patta in existence.

2. Today, when the matter is listed under the caption 'for issuance of patta', the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the petitioners applications were processed. Subsequently, the said applications were rejected on the ground that there is a rival dispute in between the parties. However, the rejection order will be communicated to the petitioners within a period of two weeks. The learned counsel for the petitioner also ratifies the same.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, no further adjudication is required in these Writ Petitions. However the Tahsildar is directed to communicate the order copy to the petitioners within a period of two weeks from date of receipt of copy of this order, to enable them to work out their remedy in the manner known to law. Hence these Writ Petitions are closed. No costs.
