Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the auction dated 31st October, 2022 in 30 / 2022 tender leased and awarded by the second respondent and quash the same consequently directing the second respondent to award the tender to the petitioner being the second highest successful bidder. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the auction dated 31st October, 2022 in 30 / 2022 tender leased and awarded by the second respondent and quash the same, consequently directing the second respondent to award the tender to the petitioner being the second highest successful bidder. 2/4

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the second successful bidder, however, the tender for rearing and harvesting of fish at Panamalaipettai lake was awarded in favour of the sixth respondent, who is the President of Panamalaipettai Panchayat.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that during the pendancy of this writ petition, the tender awarded in favour of the sixth respondent was cancelled. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

4.In view of the above, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 27.04.2023 pri Speaking Order/ Non Speaking Order Index: Yes/ No Internet: Yes/ No 3/4
