ORDER

By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2.This petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to issue ''No Objection Certificate'' to run the petitioner's Spa in the name and style of M/s.Zen Glow Beauty Spa at No.359, Hotel Vijay Park, MKN Road, Alandur, Near Airport, Chenai, based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2026.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents and perused the material available on record.

4.The case of the petitioner is that she established the above mentioned Spa, in the name and style of M/s.Zen Glow Beauty Spa and running the same without any adverse remarks. However, later, she came to know that it is mandatory to obtain license from Greater Chennai Corporation and ''No Objection Certificate'' from local jurisdictional Police to run the said Spa and she also applied for the same on 29.10.2025 and the same is pending without

any progress. The petitioner claims that the 2nd respondent police, used to conduct raids and cause inconvenience to run her concern. Hence, she made a detailed representation dated 27.01.2026 to the respondents, seeking to issue ''No Objection Certificate''. Since no action is forthcoming by the respondents, the petitioner was constrained to file the present writ petition.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders.

6. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a reasonable time.

7. In view of the above submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2026 and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 18-02-2026 DN To
