Prayer:- The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the representation, dated 19.2.2011 of the petitioners.

O R D E R

According to the petitioners, the second respondent is carrying on business in selling meat without obtaining licence under Section 255 of the District Municipality Act. The petitioners preferred a complaint on 19.2.2011 to the first respondent and to the District Collector, Kancheepuram on 14.3.2011, to take appropriate action against "Raja Fast Food" for unauthorizedly carrying on business. However, no action has been taken by the Municipal authorities, the petitioners have filed the present writ petition to consider the representation made by the petitioners, dated 19.2.2011. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioners, without expressing any opinion on merit, it is open to the petitioners to make fresh representation to the first respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation from the petitioners, the same shall be considered on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. Writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No Costs.
