ORDER
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2019 consequently direct the respondent to pay family pension amount to the petitioner pertains to PPO No. W/PER/PSB/ 1227.TR 151.
The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner worked as Central Government employee, therefore the remedy is before the the Central Administrative Tribunal. The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that since the petitioner's representation is pending on the file of the respondent for more than two years, it would suffice to give https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
directions to the respondent to consider the representation and pass appropriate orders within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.
2. The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent had not objected the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsels on either side and in view of limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner in the writ petition, this Court, without expressing any opinion and without going into merits of the case, is inclined to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2019 and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say that the petitioner shall produce a copy of his representation dated 25.07.2019 to the respondent along with a copy of this order. 4.With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
