Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus calling for the records relating to the order of detention D.O.No.27/2014 C-2 dated 17/08/2014 passed by the 2nd respondent and to set aside the same and also to direct the respondents to produce detenue Karuppayee, wife of Amavasai, aged 48 years, who is presently confined in the Special Prison for Women, Vellore, to be produced before this Hon`ble court and set at liberty. The petitioner has come forward with this petition challenging the impugned detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 17/08/2014.
2. It is stated by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the impugned detention order dated 17.8.2014 had been revoked, vide G.O.Rt.No.5017, Home, Prohibition and Excise [XI] Department, dated 7.10.2014. Hence, the Habeas corpus Petition has become infructuous.

3.Under such circumstances, the Habeas corpus petition stands dismissed, as infructuous.
