Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the order of the third respondent herein made in his proceedings Ma.Aa.469 of 2018, Na.Kaaa.9709 of 2018 dated 13.06.2018 dismissing the petitioners herein as Home Guards and direct the third respondent to reinstate the petitioners herein as Home Guards. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed against the order dated 13.06.2018 issued by the third respondent in dismissing the petitioners, as Home Guards and for a consequential direction to reinstate them as Home Guards.

2. During the course of hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has placed a copy of the proceedings issued by the third respondent dated 04.12.2023 and submits that the petitioners have been appointed as Home Guards and the petitioners joined duty and at present they are working as Home Guards.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners also endorsed the same. 2/4

4. In view of the above factual position, no further adjudication is required in the present writ petition.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

6. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
