The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent/Tahsildar, Omalur Taluk, Salem District to consider and pass orders on the Application for Patta dated 30.09.2022 submitted by the petitioner in respect of the House, ground and premises bearing Old Door No.1, 8th Ward, now 11th Ward, Sankari Main Road and the land comprised in Old Survey No.171/2, New Survey No.347/25, Monagabadi Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District, measuring to an extent of 5859 sq.ft.
2. In respect of property situated at Old Survey No.171/2, New Survey No.347/25 situated at Monagabadi Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District, the petitioner claimed patta and had given an application on 30.09.2022. In order of consider the said application, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents would 2/4
submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered by the 2nd respondent and necessary orders to that effect on merits would be passed within a time frame.

Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 30.09.2022 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
