[ RESPONDENT ] Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of mandamus to direct the respondent herein to consider and dispose of the application dated 18.03.2016, submitted by the petitioner for the purpose of renewal of State Carriage Permit in respect of the Route Saparthy to Pochampalli (via) Agaram and Nagarasampatty for the period from 28.01.1978 to 27.01.2018, in respect of the vehicle MDE 6175.

Heard Mr.R.Srinivasalu, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Zakkir Hussain, learned Government Advocate accepting notice on behalf of the respondent, and with the consent of learned counsel appearing on either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.This Writ Petition has been filed praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's Application dated 18.03.2016, for renewal of State Carriage Permit.

3.During the pendency of the Writ Petition, the respondent by proceedings dated 24.03.2016, sought for certain https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

additional particulars/information from the petitioner. On receipt of the said communication, the petitioner has furnished necessary information by reply dated 18.4.2016. 4.In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's Application for renewal of the Stage Carriage Permit in respect of the period from 28.01.1978 to 27.01.2018, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is disposed of on the above terms. No costs.
