Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to sanction, draw and disburse the legal fees, due to the petitioner for the services rendered as Additional Advocate General-VII, to the respondents department in the High Court of Judicature at Madras along with interest @ 12% p.a. from the date of the claim, till the date of realization. 1/4

ORDER

The prayer sought for is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the legal fees, due to the petitioner for the services rendered by him as Additional Advocate General-VII to the respondents department in the High Court of Judicature at Madras along with interest @ 12% p.a. from the date of the claim, till the date of realization.

2. Mr.L.Chandrakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, by relying upon the counter affidavit filed by the third respondent, has submitted that, the issue raised in this writ petition has been settled and in this regard, the respondent has issued G.O.(D) No.45, dated 28.03.2022 and G.O.(D) No.48, dated 29.03.2022 respective of the Tourism Culture and Religious Endowments Department. Therefore, by recording the same, the writ petition can be disposed of, he contended.

3. This position is reiterated by the learned Special Government 2/4

Pleader appearing for the first respondent, as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 2 and 3.

4. Considering the said submissions and by taking note of the fact that the prayer sought for by the petitioner has been accomplished, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
