O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of 1/4

mandamus directing the respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 22.01.2025 wherein the petitioner has sought for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.

2. Heard Mr.N.Suresh, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondent.

3. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property through a registered sale deed dated 03.10.1986 registered in the name of the petitioner's father. The further case of the petitioner is that the patta also stood in the name of his father in Patta No.1149. The petitioner submitted an application seeking for survey of the property on 22.01.2025. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 22.01.2025 and conduct the survey and complete the 2/4

process within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The survey shall be completed in line with the title deed and patta granted in the name of the petitioner's father. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
