ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 1 st respondent to mutate the revenue records and to include the name of the petitioner as a joint patta holder with respect to the subject property. 2.Heard Mr.N.Suresh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the 1 st respondent.

3.The main grievance that was expressed by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that originally the father of the petitioner was a joint patta holder along with the 2 nd respondent by virtue of the proceedings of the 1 st respondent dated 20.05.2024. The petitioner's father died on 21.05.1997. Therefore, the

3/4 petitioner wants his name to be included as a joint patta holder along with the nd respondent. The representation that was made by the petitioner in this regard on 18.01.2025 did not evoke any response. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 1 st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 18.01.2025 and pass necessary orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
