The present Miscellaneous Petitions have been filed seeking to condone the delay of 663 days in filing the above criminal appeals.

2. Though name of the respondent in the above petitions was printed in the cause list, he has not entered appearance either in person or through counsel.

3. Satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavits in support of the petitions and considering the inordinate delay, this Court considers it appropriate to allow these petitions on payment of costs. Accordingly, these miscellaneous petitions are allowed and the delay of 663 days in filing the above appeals, is condoned subject to payment of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) each to the respective respondent in the above petitions within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this order, failing which, the petitions shall stand dismissed automatically, without further reference to this Court.
