O R D E R

This petition has been filed to issue a direction to dispose of the case in S.C.No.87 of 2018 on the file of the Mahila Court, Vellore, Vellore District within stipulated period.

2. The de-facto complainant, who is the mother of the victim girl, filed this petition to complete the trial in S.C.No.87 of 2019 within a reasonable time. It is submitted that her daughter Kowsher, aged about 20 years at time of death and when she was residing along with petitioner, she was three moths pregnant. The respondents 2 to 4 abused her daughter with filthy language and assaulted her, which resulted in committing suicide by hanging. Now, the respondents are dragging and prolonging the proceedings to defeat the justice.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that 20 witnesses were arrayed in this case and three accused were already examined. The trial has been going on before the Lower Court.

4. In view of the above submissions, this Court directs the Trial Court to complete the trial within a period of three months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
