The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to issue patta by disposing of petitioner's online application dated 12.08.2021 for appropriate measurement and grant of individual patta in his name for the petitioner's land viz. Property Land measuring to an total extent of about 99 cents comprised in Survey No.239/2B in Alathur Village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District.

In respect of property at Survey No.239/2B situated at Alathur Village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District, the petitioner had given online application for getting patta on 12.08.2021 to the 2nd respondent Tahsildar and in order to consider the same and to pass orders thereon on merits within a time frame, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 2/4

4. The learned Government Advocate would submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner dated 12.08.2021 would be considered by the 2nd respondent on merits and orders would be passed thereon within a time frame.

Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, this Court is inclined to give a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the said application submitted by the petitioner dated 12.08.2021 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
