Respondent/Petitioner This Review Application is preferred under Order 47 Rule 1 of CPC read with Section 114 CPC against the order dated 30.08.3018 passed by this Court in WP No.655 of 2018 etc., (batch cases).

Prayer in WP.655/2018: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to direct the respondents to sanction annual increment to the petitioner in respect of the service rendered by him from 01.07.2017 to 30/06/2014, and consequently

direct the respondent to revise the pension and other pensionary benefits of the petitioner and thereby pay the arrears. For Petitioners : Mr.T.Venkatesh Kumar, Special Government Pleader.

O R D E R

The learned Special Government Pleading appearing on behalf of the review petitioners made a submission that the respondent/writ petitioner has submitted a 'Letter of Undertaking' on 22.12.2021 stating that the reasons furnished by the Department for not granting the annual increment is acceptable to the respondent/writ petitioner and accordingly, he is ready to drop all further actions in respect of his claim made out in the original Writ Petition.

This being the Letter of Undertaking given by the respondent-employee, the review petition is to be considered.

2. Accordingly, the order passed by this Court dated 30.08.2018 in WP No.655 of 2018 stands reviewed and the Review Application is allowed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
