Respondent Prayer: This Civil Revision Petition is filed under Section 25(1) of Tamil Nadu Buildings Lease and Rent Control Act, 1960, against the judgment and decree dated 30.09.2016 made in R.C.A.No.759 of 2014 on the file of the VIII Small Causes Court, Chennai confirming the order and decree dated 12.06.2014 made in R.C.O.P.No.1262 of 2012 on the file of the XI Small Causes Court, Chennai.

(The matter is heard through "Video Conferencing/Hybrid Mode".) The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the parties have settled the 1/4

matter and petitioner agreed to vacate and hand over the vacant possession of the property on or before 31.07.2022 to the respondent. The petitioner filed an affidavit of undertaking that he will vacate and surrender the said premises to the respondent on or before 31.07.2022 and agreed to pay monthly rent at the rate of Rs.5,600/- (Rupees Five Thousand Six Hundred Only) till such time. A joint memo of compromise dated 19.08.2021 entered into between the parties signed by both the parties as well as counsels was filed before the Registry. Both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent identified the signatures of petitioner and respondent and submitted that the Civil Revision Petition may be disposed of in terms of said joint memo of compromise.

2.Recording the above said submissions, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of as per the terms of compromise memo. The memo of compromise shall form part of the decree. The petitioner is directed to deliver the vacant possession to the respondent as per the terms of joint memo of compromise and affidavit of undertaking, on or before 31.07.2022. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs. 03.09.2021 krk 2/4
