(Judgment of the Court was delivered by R. MAHADEVAN, J.) This Writ Appeal arises from the order dated 07.01.2022 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.No.42045 of 2016.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the appellant seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ appeal, since the appellant has been promoted as Assistant, vide proceedings of the 4th respondent, dated 13.09.2022. He has also made an endorsement in the case bundle to that effect.
3. In view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the appellant, this writ appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
