O R D E R
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records and quash the second respondent's order dated 06.02.2025 and consequently, direct the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 17.01.2025 requesting police protection during the Thai Poosam Festival from 26.02.2025 to 27.03.2025 as well as for the rally carrying the statue of Arulmigu Mangammal Mahalakshmi from Kathirimalai to Erode and its return to the Kathirimalai Temple on 27.03.2025.
2. Though the petitioner has challenged the order of the second respondent dated 06.02.2025, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the third respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner.
3. In view of the above, the third respondent/Inspector of Police, Anthiyur Police Station, is directed to issue notice to respondent Nos.4 to 7 and conduct an enquiry and pass orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
