ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2023 sent for rectifying the mistake with regard to extent of land, occurred during UDR Scheme in respect of his lands in S.F.No.103/2, situate at Attur Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation within the time as may be fixed by this Court.

3. Mr.T.Arun Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the 1st respondent. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents 2 to 6, notice to the respondents 2 to 6 is dispensed with.

4. The petitioner himself admitted that larger extent of their land was given to the private respondents during UDR scheme. The UDR scheme took place during 1984-1985. Therefore, the petitioner is not entitled to the relief sought for in this writ petition. More over it is only a civil dispute. Therefore, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy before the Civil Court. 2/4

5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. No costs.
