O R D E R

This contempt petition is filed for the alleged noncompliance of the order dated 23.07.2015 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.22085 of 2015 .

2. The learned Government Advocate has produced G.O. (D).No.195 dated 25-02-2016 stating that the order has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ complied with.

The learned counsel for the petitioner drawn the attention of this Court to Paragraph No.7 of the said G.O., and submitted that the G.O., is not very clear as to whether they are paying interest or not. Further, no time limit is also mentioned in the G.O., as to the settlement of retirement benefits. He has also submitted that a direction could be issued to the Secretary to Home Department to settle the retirement benefits to the petitioner within some stipulated period and the contempt may be closed.

In these circumstances, the contempt petition is closed with a direction to the Secretary to Home Department to settle the terminal benefits to the petitioner in accordance with the order of the Court dated 23-07-2015 in W.P.No.22085 of 2015 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The connected sub-application is also closed.
